Softball Recap: Yazoo City Comes Up Short

Yazoo City was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 15-3 to the Ridgeland Titans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 26-7 back in February.

Yazoo City's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Ridgeland, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-8 record.

Coming up, Yazoo City will host Yazoo County at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ridgeland, they will head out on the road to challenge Columbus at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
