Recap: Warsaw Tigers vs. Huntington North Vikings
The Warsaw Tigers had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came out on top against Huntington North by a score of 63-50. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Warsaw also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Huntington North's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Asher Chipchosky, who scored 13 points. Zach Nash was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Warsaw's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Huntington North, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-3.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Warsaw will take on Fort Wayne North Side at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Huntington North, they will be playing at home against Manchester at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday.
