Soccer Recap: Laredo LBJ Comes Up Short

Laredo LBJ lost against United back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Laredo LBJ Wolves came up short against the United Longhorns, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Wolves can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 540th, while the Longhorns are ranked 52nd).

This is the second loss in a row for Laredo LBJ and nudges their season record down to 2-12. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 10-6 Alexander (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 72.9% over those games). As for United, their victory bumped their record up to 15-3.

Coming up, Laredo LBJ will challenge United South at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Laredo LBJ is facing United South at the right time seeing as United South is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for United, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Alexander at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
