Volleyball Recap: Hutto Comes Up Short

Hutto was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Braswell Bengals.

Felicity Cleveland paced Hutto's offense, picking up four kills. Cleveland got some help from Kharmin Fisher and her five assists.

Hutto's defeat dropped their record down to 10-19. As for Braswell, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-12 record this season.

Hutto wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against McNeil on the 2nd. As for Braswell, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Heritage on the 2nd.
