Basketball Recap: Northwest Christian Finds Home Court Redemption Against Winslow

There's no place like home for Northwest Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They walked away with a 64-56 win over the Winslow Bulldogs on Thursday. The Crusaders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Winslow's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Isaac David, who went 13-for-21 en route to 28 points along with eight boards and five steals, and Jayden Curtis, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds. That was a full 50% of Winslow's points, marking the third time in a row David has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Izaak Panana, who scored five points.

The victory got Northwest Christian back to even at 13-13. As for Winslow, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-10.
