Baseball Game Preview: St. Louis HomeSchool P Patriots vs. Middle Tennessee Monarchs

The St. Louis HomeSchool P Patriots will be taking part in a tournament against Middle Tennessee Monarchs at 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Louis HomeSchool P is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

St. Louis HomeSchool P's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over West Houston HomeSchool.

The team relied heavily on Will Schark, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Skaggs, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Middle Tennessee Monarchs' offense. They lost 12-0 to Northside Falcons HomeSchool on Monday.

St. Louis HomeSchool P's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-12. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Middle Tennessee Monarchs, they now have a losing record of 16-17.

St. Louis HomeSchool P was able to grind out a solid win over Middle Tennessee Monarchs in their previous matchup back in May of 2023, winning 4-1. Will the Patriots repeat their success, or do Middle Tennessee Monarchs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
