Volleyball Recap: Fresno Christian Triumphs

Fresno Christian picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They skirted past the Peninsula Panthers 2-1.

Jordyn Degroot paced Fresno Christian's offense, picking up 14 kills. Degroot got some help from Brooklyn Samarin and her 13 assists. Degroot also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Petraeus Draper, racking up two apiece.

Fresno Christian now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Peninsula, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Fresno Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Pacifica on the 23rd. As for Peninsula, they will take on Chadwick at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Panthers are facing the Dolphins at the right time seeing as the Dolphins are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
