Basketball Recap: Cave Spring Comes Up Short

Cave Spring lost against Salem back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cave Spring Knights lost 70-44 to the Salem Spartans.

Cave Spring's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Salem, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cave Spring will head out to face off against Patrick Henry at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Salem, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Christiansburg at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
