Softball Recap: Easley Takes a Loss

After flying high against Pickens on Wednesday, Easley came back down to earth. The Green Wave fell 21-18 to the Greenwood Eagles on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Wednesday (16), the Green Wave still had to take the loss.

Harper Lesley was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Camora Little, who went 3-for-5 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

Easley dropped their record down to 6-16 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Greenwood, their win bumped their record up to 5-14.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Easley will host Walhalla at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Greenwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against T.L. Hanna at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
