Volleyball Game Preview: KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate Panthers vs. St. Mary's Spartans

KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate hasn't had much luck against St. Mary recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Spartans at 5:45 p.m.

KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate is headed into the contest having just suffered their biggest loss since September 18th on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to Academy of Notre Dame.

KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-17, 25-22.

Meanwhile, St. Mary's beat Salem 3-1 on Thursday. The Spartans haven't had any issues with the Witches recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

St. Mary's was especially dominant in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-22, 17-25, 25-14.

St. Mary's now has a winning record of 9-8. As for KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-7.

KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate came up short against St. Mary's in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Panthers avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
