Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Defeat Ends Braddock's Winning Streak

Braddock and Southwest squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Braddock had to settle for second. They lost 3-0 to the Eagles. The Bulldogs' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-17, 25-16.

Gabriel Perez-Malo paced Braddock's offense, picking up 12 kills. Perez-Malo got some help from Adrian Martin and his 14 assists. Perez-Malo was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Braddock now has a losing record of 12-13. As for Southwest, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-5.

Braddock does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Southwest, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Palmetto on the 1st.
