Baseball Recap: Starpoint Takes a Loss

Starpoint's last matchup with Niagara Falls could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Saturday. The Spartans lost 11-0 to the Wolverines. If the Spartans were looking for revenge after losing 6-4 to the Wolverines when the teams met back in May of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Starpoint and nudges their season record down to 3-11. As for Niagara Falls, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Starpoint does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Niagara Falls, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 8-7 defeat against Williamsville South on the 17th.
