With a playoff win on the line, Santa Fe Christian rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the La Costa Canyon Mavericks. Winning may never get old, but the Eagles sure are getting used to it with their sixth in a row.

While Santa Fe Christian won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-17, 26-24.

Taryn Brown went supernova, getting 20 digs and two assists. Those 20 digs gave her a new career-high. Mali Carroll also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Santa Fe Christian's victory bumped their record up to 19-11. As for La Costa Canyon, their loss ended a six-match streak of away wins and brought them to 27-12.

Santa Fe Christian has already played their next contest (against Patrick Henry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. La Costa Canyon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
