Basketball Game Preview: Union Grove Broncos vs. Waterford Wolverines

The Union Grove Broncos will head out on the road to challenge the Waterford Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Union Grove turned things around against Badger on Friday. Everything went their way against the Badgers as they made off with an 82-62 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Broncos have posted since December 3, 2024.

Meanwhile, Waterford waltzed into their contest on Thursday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came out on top against the Elks by a score of 61-50.

Waterford pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 74.0 points per game. As for Union Grove, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-7.

Union Grove was taken down by Waterford 87-51 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Union Grove avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
