Volleyball Recap: Winter Haven Takes a Loss

Winter Haven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Wales Highlanders.

Winter Haven started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 24-26, 25-21, 25-17, 29-27.

Winter Haven's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Lake Wales, they moved to 2-7 with that victory, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Winter Haven has already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Auburndale on the 2nd. As for Lake Wales, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Davenport on the 3rd.
