Crestview is 8-2 against Lima Central Catholic since September of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Knights will face off against the Thunderbirds at 7:00 p.m. Lima Central Catholic took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Crestview, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Crestview got the win against Jefferson by a conclusive 3-0.

Crestview never let Jefferson on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-23, 25-16.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Lima Central Catholic's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They came up short against Columbus Grove, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-12, 25-20.

Crestview has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Lima Central Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-7.

Everything went Crestview's way against Lima Central Catholic in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, as Crestview made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
