Football Recap: Monroe Township Takes a Loss

Monroe Township extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 1-4. They took a 32-13 bruising from the Kennedy Memorial Mustangs. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

As for Kennedy Memorial, they now have a winning record of 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for they.

Grant Lorentzen was his usual excellent self, picking up 31 receiving yards and three scores. He is on a roll when it comes to receiving touchdowns, as he's now hauled in two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Fiheem Howell, who rushed for 152 yards.

Monroe Township wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 30-12 defeat against North Hunterdon on the 3rd. As for Kennedy Memorial, they have also already played their next matchup, a 33-14 win against Scotch Plains-Fanwood on the 3rd.
