Volleyball Recap: Fortuna Comes Up Short

Fortuna was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ripon Christian Knights.

Fortuna's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Ripon Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-8 record this season.

Fortuna has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Heritage on the 18th. As for Ripon Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against West Valley on the 18th.
