Softball Recap: Ridge Spring-Monetta Comes Up Short

If Ridge Spring-Monetta was riding high fresh off their 28-17 takedown of Wardlaw Academy last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Ridge Spring-Monetta lost 13-3 to the King Academy Knights on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Trojans of the 6-5 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2023.

Ridge Spring-Monetta's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for King Academy, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridge Spring-Monetta will take on Hunter-Kinard-Tyler at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Ridge Spring-Monetta their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for King Academy, they will welcome Ridge Spring-Monetta at 5:30 p.m. on April 3.
