Football Recap: St. Clairsville Falls to Norwayne in First Game of Season

St. Clairsville had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They came up short against the Norwayne Bobcats, falling 47-27. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Ryder Ingold had a dynamite game For Norwayne., picking up 180 receiving yards and four scores. Ingold showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 64 yards.

St. Clairsville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 49-13 win against Brownsville on the 29th. As for Norwayne, they have also already played their next contest, a 36-14 defeat against Triway on the 29th.
