Basketball Recap: Tulalip Heritage Takes a Loss

Tulalip Heritage has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 59-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Willapa Valley Vikings on Friday.

It was another big night for Blane King, who shot 47% from the field en route to 20 points along with eight boards and five steals for Willapa Valley. King has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Nathan Fluke, who went 6-for-15 to rack up 13 points and eight rebounds.

Tulalip Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 18-4. As for Willapa Valley, the win was the 22nd in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-2.

As of now, neither Tulalip Heritage nor Willapa Valley have any future games scheduled.
