New Albany waltzed into their match on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They really took it to the Corinth Warriors for the full four quarters, racking up a 76-42 win. With the Bulldogs ahead 37-14 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

New Albany's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Amari Hubbard led the charge by dropping a double-double on 22 points and 12 rebounds. Issac Gilbert was another key player, putting up 11 points along with five boards and four steals.

New Albany smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in five consecutive games.

New Albany pushed their record up to 8-3 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.7 points per game. As for Corinth, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Coincidentally, New Albany and Corinth will both be playing Hernando the next time they take the court. Corinth will host Hernando at 4:00 p.m. on December 27th, while New Albany will head out to face them at 11:30 a.m. on December 28th.
