After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cloudland, Hampton was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They skirted past the University School Buccaneers 10-9. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Hampton got a massive performance out of Maleah Scalf, who went 4-for-5 with five stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. With that strong performance, Scalf is now averaging an impressive 1.2 stolen bases per game. Another player making a difference was Hannah Smith, who scored four runs and stole six bases while going 4-for-4.
