Huntland has gone 9-1 against Fayetteville recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Huntland Hornets will be playing at home against the Fayetteville Tigers at 6:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

Huntland took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 56-53 win over Community. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Hornets considering their 19-point performance the game before.

Meanwhile, Fayetteville can bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They had just enough and edged Cascade out 57-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since December 6, 2024.

The win got Huntland back to even at 11-11. As for Fayetteville, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-13.

Huntland beat Fayetteville 57-46 when the teams last played on January 9th. Will Huntland repeat their success, or does Fayetteville have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
