Baseball Game Preview: Owensboro Catholic Aces vs. Henderson County Colonels

Owensboro Catholic is 2-8 against Henderson County since March of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Owensboro Catholic Aces will welcome the Henderson County Colonels at 5:30 p.m. Neither Owensboro Catholic nor Henderson County posted many runs in their last games, so it might be the pitching crews that decide this one.

Owensboro Catholic fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Trinity last Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 6-1 to the Shamrocks.

Owensboro Catholic saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drew Miles, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Henderson County came up short against Apollo on Monday, falling 8-1.

Henderson County also got a good showing from Sonny Shelton, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
