After a string of three wins, Lake Worth's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mineral Wells Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Thursday.

Cherysh Luiv Fowler paced Lake Worth's offense, picking up three kills. Fowler got some help from Sophia Ayala and her six assists. Finally, Fowler was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Lake Worth's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9-2. As for Mineral Wells, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4-1.

Looking ahead, Lake Worth will take on Southwest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mineral Wells, they have already played their next contest, a 2-1 win against Tioga on the 23rd.
