Jersey Shore and Milton are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2015, but likely not for long. The Bulldogs will face off against the Black Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses for Jersey Shore and 15 for Milton.

Jersey Shore's last matchup with Williamsport could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Thursday. The Bulldogs came up short against the Millionaires, falling 8-1. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 24, 2023, but that streak is no more.

Jersey Shore saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tucker Hanna, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Milton fought the good fight in their extra-innings contest against Midd-West on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 14-13.

Milton got a big performance out of Dominic Lytle, who went 3-for-5 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Owen Woolsey was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

Jersey Shore's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Milton, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-15.

Jersey Shore might still be hurting after the 14-8 loss they got from Milton when the teams last played back in May of 2024. Can the Bulldogs avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
