Baseball Recap: McKean Highlanders vs. Mount Pleasant Green Knights
McKean had lost five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Wednesday they dropped down to 1-5 to make it six. They came up short against the Mount Pleasant Green Knights, falling 15-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Highlanders of the 13-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.
Jey Oquendo was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run. That stolen base was his first of the season.

Coming up, McKean will face off against DuPont at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mount Pleasant, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Wilmington Friends at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
