Baseball Recap: Halstead Comes Up Short

Halstead was the 12-8 winner over Douglass when they last played one another back in April of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Dragons fell 7-4 to the Bulldogs on Monday.

Halstead saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Greyson Swift, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

Halstead now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Douglass, their record now sits at 7-10.

Halstead didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 8-2 victory against Haven on the 28th. As for Douglass, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Chaparral on the 30th.
