Baseball Recap: Central Noble Cougars vs. Woodlan Warriors

Central Noble extended their losing streak to four on Saturday, dropping their season record down to 4-11 in the process. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Woodlan Warriors. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Cougars have suffered since April 21st.

Caden Douglas made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

As for Woodlan, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-13. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.8 runs over those games.

On Woodlan's side, Ethan Trygg and Ben Delagrange dominated on the mound.
