Softball Recap: Pine Valley Central Panthers vs. Forestville Central Hornets
Pine Valley Central extended their losing streak to five on Friday, dropping them down to 1-9. They lost 24-0 to the Forestville Central Hornets. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 back in April.
Pine Valley Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Victoria Erickson, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one double. That double was Erickson's first of the season.
As for Forestville Central, their win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-2. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
