Baseball Recap: Lyons Lions vs. Front Range Christian Falcons
Lyons was handed a ten-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 7-6 win over the Front Range Christian Falcons. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Lions have posted since April 30, 2024.
Jake LaCrosse made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out 13 over 6.2 innings pitched. LaCrosse was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. What's more, he posted two doubles, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.
