Basketball Recap: McQueen Takes a Loss

McQueen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They took a blow against the Buckland Sissauni, falling 79-38. The Qavviks were not able to make up for their defeat to the Sissauni from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

McQueen's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Buckland, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

McQueen has already played their next contest, a 58-29 defeat against Buckland on the 20th. As for Buckland, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-43 victory against Napaaqtugmiut on the 20th.
