Volleyball Recap: Lumpkin County Comes Up Short

Lumpkin County was the 2-1 winner over White County when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lumpkin County started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-21, 15-6.

Lumpkin County now has a losing record of 14-15. As for White County, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-15.

Coming up, Lumpkin County will venture away from home to challenge Johnson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for White County, they will take on Lee County in a tournament on Saturday.
