It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Argyle can now relate to. They fell just short of the Wakeland Wolverines by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their 14-game winning streak.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Argyle sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-13, 21-25, 25-16, 28-30, 15-12.

Jordyn Moore paced Argyle's offense, picking up 21 kills. Moore got some help from Karsyn Rogers and her 22 assists. Piper Mickenheim controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Emily Dufresne was the offensive standout of the game as she had ten digs.

Argyle's defeat dropped their record down to 39-6. As for Wakeland, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 24 of their last 25 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 34-6 record this season.

Argyle does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wakeland, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Cedar Park at 12:00 p.m. Cedar Park will roll in looking for their 21st straight win, something Wakeland surely won't give up without a fight.
