Basketball Recap: Dominion Comes Up Short

Dominion suffered their biggest loss since January 26th on Wednesday. They came up short against the Oakton Cougars, falling 53-33. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 101st, while the Cougars are ranked third).

Dominion has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season. As for Oakton, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Dominion will take on Potomac Falls in a holiday battle at at 6:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Oakton, they will look to defend their home court on December 27th against Patriot at 7:45 p.m.
