Football Recap: Clarksville Generals vs. Charlestown Pirates
Clarksville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Charlestown Pirates 35-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Generals of the 53-20 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Charlestown can attribute much of their success to Boomer Hester, who rushed for 107 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries.
Clarksville's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Charlestown, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
Clarksville will challenge Rock Creek Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Charlestown, they will host North Harrison at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
