It was a good run, but Columbia Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 11-1 to the Taylor Tigers.

Columbia Christian saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zeb Meadows, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Columbia Christian's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Taylor, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Columbia Christian is set to square off against their familiar foe Bearden at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Taylor will face off against rival Hermitage at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
