            The Pender Pendragons will take on the North Bend Central Tigers in a holiday battle at  at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Pender comes in on 13 and North Bend Central on three.
Last Tuesday,  everything came up roses for Pender against Humphrey-Lindsay as the  squad secured  a  61-33 win. Fans of the Pendragons have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+  points.

 Maya Dolliver and  Hadley Walsh were among the main playmakers for Pender as the former  went 11 for 16  on her way to 25  points in addition to six  boards and five  assists and the latter  went 6 of 12  on her way to 17  points along with six  assists and four  steals. The dominant performance gave  Walsh a new career-high in  assists. The team also got some help courtesy of  Madalyn Dolliver, who  posted 12 points.
 Pender  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 11  offensive boards. That's the most  offensive boards they've managed all season.
 Meanwhile, North Bend Central earned  a  51-41 victory over Wisner-Pilger  on Tuesday.
 Pender's win was  their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 5-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 46.8 points. As for North Bend Central, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.
 Pender strolled past North Bend Central in their previous matchup  back in February by a score of  45-29. Does  Pender have another victory up their sleeve, or will North Bend Central turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
