Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Niskayuna). They blew past the Troy Flying Horses, posting a 51-12 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Silver Warriors' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' New York football rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Flying Horses are ranked 238th).
A big part of Niskayuna's win came down to the chemistry between Thomas Boler and his top target Cameron Grasso. Boler threw for 224 yards and four touchdowns while completing 90.9% of his passes while Grasso picked up 145 receiving yards and three TDs. That's the most receiving touchdowns Grasso has posted since back in September of 2024.
Special teams was a major factor in the game for Niskayuna, racking up 15 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Grasso, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
The victory (which was Niskayuna's third in a row) raised their record to 4-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.7 points over those games. As for Troy, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 3-2.
