Volleyball Recap: Coachella Valley Victorious

Coachella Valley saw some tournament action on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Orange Vista Coyotes.

Yamarani Vega paced Coachella Valley's offense, picking up nine kills. Vega got some help from Vanessa Garcia and her 14 assists. Giada Lopez controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Coachella Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Orange Vista, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-5.

Coachella Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 1-0 win against Cathedral City on the 16th. As for Orange Vista, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Patriot on the 20th.
