Baseball Recap: Kickapoo Comes Up Short

Kickapoo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 13-3 to the Ithaca Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 last Monday.

Kickapoo saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Krings, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Kickapoo's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Ithaca, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kickapoo will welcome Weston at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ithaca, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cashton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
