Pace Academy had won 11 straight games and Britton McGurn did her part to make it 12 on Thursday. Pace Academy was the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over Midtown with plenty of help from McGurn, who had four digs and two aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Pace Academy not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Midtown between 16 and 17 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-17, 25-17.

Pace Academy's victory bumped their record up to 31-7. As for Midtown, they moved to 33-10 with that defeat, which also ended their eight-match winning streak.

As of now, neither Pace Academy nor Midtown have any future games scheduled.
