Washington proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by four) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a goal and slipped past the North Lenoir Hawks 2-1. The victory was nothing new for Washington as they're now sitting on six straight.

Washington's win bumped their record up to 7-1-1. As for North Lenoir, they dropped their record down to 5-9 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington will welcome SouthWest Edgecombe at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Washington will be up against SouthWest Edgecombe's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.5 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for North Lenoir, they will host West Craven at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
