Smithfield not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 23rd (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Gloucester Dukes. The win continues a trend for the Packers in their matchups with the Dukes: they've now won four in a row.

Smithfield never let Gloucester on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-19, 25-22.

Smithfield's victory bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Gloucester, they are on a 22-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-20.
