Baseball Recap: Meadowbrook Takes a Loss

Meadowbrook was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 13-1 to the Dinwiddie Generals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Generals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-0 back in April.

Meadowbrook saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nick Vaughan, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Meadowbrook's loss dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Dinwiddie, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-5.

Coming up, Meadowbrook will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Highland Springs at 5:30 p.m. As for Dinwiddie, they will square off against Clover Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
