The Danbury Hatters will face off against the Trumbull Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Danbury is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.8 runs per game this season.

Danbury lost 10-3 to New Canaan on Tuesday. The loss was the Hatters' first of the season.

Chloe Trimandilis was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Sophie O'Connell was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Trumbull came up short against Ridgefield on Wednesday and fell 9-4.

Trumbull's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Danbury, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 4-1.
