Basketball Game Preview: Groveton Eagles vs. Pittsburg Panthers

Groveton has gone 9-1 against Pittsburg recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Groveton Eagles will challenge the Pittsburg Panthers at 6:30 p.m. Groveton has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Friday, Groveton was able to grind out a solid victory over Farmington, taking the game 59-52.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pittsburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 54-45 win over Nute on Friday.

Pittsburg's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-3. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Groveton, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Groveton beat Pittsburg 50-41 in their previous meeting on Monday. The rematch might be a little tougher for Groveton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
