Softball Recap: Ewing Falls to Delran in First Game of Season

Ewing unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Delran Bears on Tuesday, falling 8-1.

Ewing saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sophia Ordini, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ewing will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Trenton Central at 4:00 p.m. on March 31st. As for Delran, they will head out to square off against Holy Cross at 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
