Baseball Recap: Mason Comets vs. Lakota West Firebirds
There's no place like home for Mason, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They skirted past the Lakota West Firebirds 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Comets: when they faced off against the Firebirds on Wednesday, they had to take a 3-2 loss.
Jaden Bakhit looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
At the plate, Hutch Crociata was incredible, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with one home run. That home run was his first of the season.
